Chapter 433
Griffin's eyes blazed with anger as he confronted Cameron, "Cameron, even if the Dawson family crumbles, it's like monkeys scattering after a tree falls. Do you really think you can just sit back and protect yourself?" Just then, a waiter approached and placed a bottle of whiskey in front of Cameron. He shot a fierce glare at Griffin while yanking the bottle open.
With the cap removed, Cameron threw his head back and chugged down half the bottle, the fiery alcohol burning his throat and bringing tears to his eyes.
After gulping it down, he sneered at Griffin, "Do you think I've been living the high life lately? Dad, thanks to you, I've been stuck in this mess. Right now, my life feels worse than death. Could it possibly get any worse?"
"But hey, dragging you down with me, making you taste this life of disrespect, poverty, and struggle there's a bit of satisfaction in that. I bet my mom would be thrilled to see this."
Griffin's eyes flared red with fury. "You and your mother are both insufferable."
Maybe it was the booze talking, but when Griffin insulted his mother, Cameron snapped. He shoved Griffin aside, shouting, "Who do you think you are? You rode on his wife's coattails to climb the social ladder, living it up on the wealth I brought, only to ditch us like we're nothing. You thought you'd live in luxury forever because of what my mom and I gave you, but you never expected to hit rock bottom so fast. While you were marrying my mom and having kids, sneaking around with your mistress, did you ever think about what would happen when your secret life came crashing down?"
Griffin stumbled into a table, splitting his scalp open. The shock jolted him sober. He struggled to his feet, rage boiling over, and started swinging at Cameron, "You ungrateful brat! How dare you hit your own father? Aren't you afraid of karma?"
Cameron pushed him back hard, "Karma? With a dad like you, whose morals are in the gutter, carrying
your tainted blood in my veins, I've already faced it. Cheating, ditching your wife for a side piece... Ha, isn't my life just a replay of yours?"
The father-son brawl was ugly and, given their high profiles, onlookers in the bar started filming the clash with their phones.
Hearing the cameras clicking, Griffin snapped back to reality. Scowling, he stumbled out of the bar.

As the bar was closing, Cameron was still sprawled out on the floor.
The owner, at a loss, shook Cameron awake, "Sir, we're closing up. Can you get up and walk out on your own?"
