This girl was still giving him the courtesy of deciding how to handle Sydney.

But she seemed hard to please. If he went too easy on her, would she hold it against him?

She might seem easygoing, but she appeared to hold grudges quite well.

Though Corbyn wasn't particularly fond of Sydney, he did see potential in her. Among the younger crowd, Sydney's talent was indeed commendable.
