Chapter 10 – The Dream
Yet another strange werewolf had appeared. Cordelia had much to research and very little time.
She gave a tired sigh as she entered her room. However, she did not expect the visit that was present.
“To what do I owe the pleasure of your visit?”
Cordelia sat in her light blue chair and waited patiently for the other woman to answer. Most were afraid of her, but that would never be your case.
Cordelia did not dare to cite the attacks, but knowing the woman with long brown hair, Verena should already know.
“I came to see how my boy is and also, of course… Learn more about recent attacks and whether they relate to the new student who arrived at your school.”
The woman emphasized the word “yours”.
“Which student do you mean? Many have arrived this year.”
Verona gave a mocking smile:
“It will be Abrams, or should I say Sera Cohen.”
Cordelia was concerned:
“Sera is protected here, if you wish I can expel your son right now, Madam Ramesses.”
Verena smiled at me:
“I am not like my husband, Cordelia. I do not want the end of this girl but her protection. After all, just by looking, I already know that she is my son’s omega.”
Cassandra thought it really made sense, after all Karim had become very close to Sera even though she didn’t seem to like her that much.
“What do you want then, Verena? ”
“Just help with research. When a curse begins, we cannot interfere with those involved.”
“And you think the answer will come alone?”
“She always comes, better or worse. ” Verena laughed.
—–
Sera was in a dark forest, she heard terrifying howls and footsteps everywhere. Until that huge, grotesque shadow shows up again and says,
“The last clan is here, the clan that hurt me so much, the one that abandoned me. That woman’s child is here. And from what I feel, she can’t even scream.” – The creature said again, laughing.
Sera ran, but to no avail. The voice kept echoing in her mind:
“Daughter of that sweet woman, that’s why I hate you. Your girl, killer.”
And the echo continued to flow:
“Murderer, murderer, murderer…”
“Shut up. It wasn’t my fault. He abused me for years, it was the only way to defend myself.”
“But you liked it, didn’t you? Didn’t you have a sense of relief?”
Sera did not answer.
“Tell the truth, Killer.” – The creature approached her with her lack of sharp eyes and teeth.
Sera woke up without screaming, only the fear present in her chest. She gasped as she tried to process her dream.
Why should she go through something like this? Had her years of torment been wrong?
She looked around, looking for Kyria, but no friend. Where’d she go? Well, Sera thought she deserved to have some time for herself, after all she had only taken care of her all along.
——-
Kyria was in a hurry to deliver some papers to the director. But, being clumsy, she had to bump into someone, of course.
But she did not fall to the ground. The person held her by the hand and pulled her close:

Kyria blushed lightly at seeing Nayssa ahead of her. She would never expect to meet the lonely maiden herself.
“Yes… I’m sorry” – Kyria pulled herself together and soon looked away from those clever eyes.
Kyria soon walked away and started picking up the papers on the floor. Nayssa helped her and smiled as she did so.
“I’m sorry to disturb you. You don’t have to help me or anything.”
“Of course I should help. It’s something so fast.” – Nayssa laughed. ” After all, I was distracted and bumped into you.”
Kyria knew that it was herself who was distracted and that it was her fault for confusion, but Nayssa was just being polite.
They finished collecting the papers and Kyria said goodbye to go to the principal’s office. But, Nayssa held her hand once again.
“I’m sorry, you’re my brother’s best friend, right? I wanted to surprise him, can you help me?”
Kyria really didn’t understand anything. However, she agreed anyway.
“All right, good to have help. Thank you, pretty girl. See you around.” – Nayssa said, giving a slight wink and leaving the other girl red as a bell pepper.
———
Sera was relieved not to be late on the first day of school.
“Sera. Wait.” – She heard Kyria call.
Her friend looked tired and embarrassed about something. But Sera didn’t ask anything.
Sera smiled and they went together to Professor Euler’s class. She felt good knowing it was someone she knew.
Upon entering the room, everyone sat down and Euler called Sera to go ahead of everyone. The eyes soon turned to her, including Karim’s.
“Hello. My name is Sera Abrams. I hope we can be friends. I can’t talk, so I use this notebook to communicate. But you can talk to me normally.”
She ran to sit next to Kyria, avoiding the gaze of everyone who knew her as “the madwoman who was attacked.”
The class ran normally, but Sera could not help but feel the looks on her.
At the end of class, she stood up while talking to Kyria until someone stepped in front of her.
“Hi, okay? My name is Park Jae-Hyun, nice to meet you. I’m also young. I’m a little late.”
“Pleasure, Jae-Hyun. I’m Sera. I hope we can get to know each other better.”
Jae-Hyun smiled. And they continued to talk. Sera liked how polite he was and didn’t seem to care about how she communicated or her scarf.
“Hey, this is not the time to talk. Soon another class will begin.” – Karim stood in front of them.
Until someone pushed Sera and pulled her scarf. Karim slipped and fell on top of her, covering her scar.
However, he saw the marks she was trying to hide.
And tears began to fall from her face. Her scarf fell and she put it on quickly.
She got up and ran away, before her humiliation.
