Substitute for The Alpha King



Few days after Hannah and Shawn got married to each other, Hannah's mother recovered and had joined them in the house. However, his father and stepmother have equally arrived with his step sister Jessica. Hannah was not happy, but then since they were already there there was nothing she could do to push them away, and they were her family so she decided to welcome them as well.

The smile on her father's face could not be contained while her stepmother had that glee plastered on her face as well. They were trying so hard, following her up and down trying to butter up to her so that she would accept them.

However, Hannah and no such time.

'You look so beautiful dear, when I saw your wedding gown, it took my breath away and I wondered where it is that you must have imported from, is it in Milan or in the States?" Her stepmother bombarded her with a lot of questions, but then she had no interest in answering any of them, but could not turn her back on them.

"I don't know, it was my mother-in-law who had taken care of the wedding gown so you can go and ask her, and perhaps she will give you the rest on that you want"

"Oh Honey, your mother-in-law is such a big woman, she would not respond to me you know. I tried talking to her earlier but she totally ignored me and did as if I wasn't even human that is so embarrassing and humiliating and so I decided to ask my beautiful daughter"

Hannah scoffed unbelievable. They were trying to butter her up by acting like butt lickers. Ever since they got here, her father had tried to strike up a conversation with her which is something that he doesn't do and her step mother had become nice for some reason. What baffled her was how her father how gone to Mr. Patrick to try and make friend with him, but Mr. Patrick bluntly refused.

He did not know much about the man, but the little that he knew was enough to let him know that her father was not a good man since he had not trained her in school and left her to suffer all alone.

"Are you still angry at us for what we did? You should know that your father and I did not mean to do all those things, and even your sister, Jessica is sorry about everything that happened which is why we are here to support you and to show me how much you really care about you and how much you mean to us. You have gotten everything anyone could ever ask for, what is it that you need? you have your husband with you and you have a mother-in-law who loves me your mother have recovered as well and have a husband who worship the ground that you walk in you know I envy you so much, Hannah"

Hannah have no words to say to her stepmother, she was exhausted from trying to pretend as if everything was alright, she got down from the car and left the room slamming the door right behind her even though she doesn't like their presence, only thing she could do was to make sure that they are being well taken care of since they were around and wouldn't want to leave.

When she stepped out of the hallway she noticed that she has not seen her step sister Jessica anywhere around the room ever since they got back, and so she decided to go and look for her she knows Jessica so well she will be up to no good. she saw the way she was looking at her and Shawn when they were standing together and kissing each other, but then, Hannah did not want to cause a scene and so she let it go with hopes that later she should take care of it, but Jessica has disappeared right under her nose.

When she stepped into the kitchen, and about to call for the maid servant when she saw Jessica trying to spike Shawn's drink, Hannah was surprised because it was Shawn's favourite cup that the maid servant had used to serve him his favourite coffee everyday.

"What the hell is going on here?' Hannah glares at her, she was mad at her for what she was doing. Her plan was to come along and destroy what she had with Shawn, of course she should have seen that right from the moment that she stepped foot into the house and was asking more about Shawn than about her sister. She was trying to look for a way to lure Shawn to bed just so she could ruin their marriage in just a short while.

"What does it look like? You took everything away from me, and why can't I take anything away from you?"

"I let you into my house" While Hannah was talking, Mrs Williams and Shawn rushed into the kitchen.

"What is going on here?"

"I caught her trying to spike your drink"

"You stole my marriage prospect, he is supposed to be mine, this house and every money in his Bank account is supposed to be mine"

Hannah laughed unbelievable. “Is

that why you tried to do all of these?

You think I took something from you, you are out of your mind for

thinking that way"

let it go and turned around to w away Shawn and Mrs Williams join her as well heading out.

“Shawn, take Hannah to her room so that she can fest and make sure you keep the door closed when it is just the thought of you inside there. By tomorrow I would have cameras I installed in every corner of the house the first thing in the morning Mrs. Williams walked away

“Are you alright?” Shawn asked as they got into the room

“Just hold me and don't let me go hold me because if I will lose my mind" "Of course, I will be holding you my love"
