She’s Married, Sir (Scarlett and Sebastian)

Chapter 259

Chapter 259

Lance had been most concerned in the past that his second brother would become enamored with

Scarlett.

After several attempts, he got the answer that he did not love her, so he stopped caring about it

No one would have imagined that, after Scarlett’s passing his second brother would have tried to take

his own life.

Having just been rescued from the gates of hell, he pulled out the syringe and returned home,

desperate to drink, not caring

for his life

Sebastian didn’t catch a word of what he said. His fingers, sharply defined, gestured at him. “Hand it

over.”

Lance pressed down on the bottle and refused to let go. “If you keep on drinking like this, you’ll be

risking your life. You gotta stop drinking now”

Sebastian suddenly sneered, “I don’t really have the desire to live.”

Lance’s expression froze as the image of his second brother almost being tortured by Wanda filled his

mind, causing him to sigh in despair.

Had it not been for the Jackman family, his second brother would have departed this world long ago.

He released the hand gripping the wine bottle and passed it to Sebastian. “Cut back on the drinking.”

After pouring the wine, Sebastian held the wine glass and gazed at the red liquid in the glass. He

queried Lance, “Why is it so

bitter?”

Lance cast a glance at him and uttered in a low tone, “Second Brother, it’s your own bitterness that

makes the wine taste

bitter.”

Sebastian curved his thin lips and a smile as cold as snow spread across his face. “So, this is how it

is…”

When Lance saw the man who had been cold and indifferent transformed by a woman, his heart was

filled with apprehension

“Second brother, the deceased cannot be brought back to life. Let it go.”

Sebastian, not replying, kept drinking the red wine.

As Lance was still trying to persuade him again, Leo walked in from outside.

“Mr. Jackman, I have uncovered the truth. Miss Sales…”

Leo was taken aback when he saw Lance, and he abruptly ceased speaking.

Nevertheless, Sebastian paid no heed and gestured for him to go on.

Only after that did Leo put a stack of information on the counter.

“Mr. Jackman, you were correct. It was Travis who paid off the personnel at the crematorium and

covertly moved Miss Sales away”

“The impetus for his action was Miss Sales sister Rebecca’s last words, that she wanted to bequeath

her heart to Miss Sales. This prompted Travis to hasten to the crematorium and take Miss Sales away.

“I also discovered that George was the one who carried out the heart transplant procedure for Miss

Sales…”

After providing some basic information, Leo recounted the details of the situation.

Upon hearing this, Lance was a bit perplexed. ‘So, Scarlett is still alive?”

Leo nodded without hesitation. “Not only did she not perish, but she also came back to the nation as

her own sister.” Lance touched his forehead with one hand. It turned out that his brother had already

known that Scarlett was still alive, yet he hadn’t told him

Sebastian had anticipated this outcome, yet he hadn’t anticipated that George would be the one to

rescue Scarlett.

Seeing that he was confused, Leo quickly explained again, “Dr. George and the Weber family have

been close friends for many years.”

Sebastian comprehended and gave a slight nod. He then inquired nonchalantly. “Why did they get

married?”

Leo responded respectfully, “Travis wed Miss Sales for Rebecca’s heart. As to why Miss Sales

consented to marry Travis, it

wal.”

Leo paused briefly, yet he still clenched his jaw and declared, ‘George told Miss Sales that Dev had

taken his own life, but she refused to accept it. She wanted to go back to the country to search for Dev,

but Travis wouldn’t let her go. Miss Sales only consented to marry him if so that she could come back

and find Dev…”

Sebastian’s fingers halted as he perused the documents, his handsome face draining of color.

In order to hasten her return to see Liam, she had har no qualms about marrying someone else.

She really loved Liam….

In her eyes, he was nothing.Belongs to (N)ôvel/Drama.Org.
