Serenity and Zachary York

Chapter 3373

After a moment of silence, Darren said, "There's new information in Wiltspoon, but I haven't confirmed the details yet. Maybe Liberty will disclose something to you."

"It doesn't matter if she does or not. After all, we're rivals. To be frank, I dare trust her fully, but she doesn't. If she were to have full trust in me, she wouldn't be a good fit to take over the Fisher family."

Before the truth behind Tiara and Alivia's deaths was exposed, Caroline would not hand over anything that belonged to the Fisher family just yet. She promised that if her mother had indeed killed her Aunt Tiara and Aunt Alivia, she would cooperate with Liberty and return everything that belonged to Tiara's descendants. After that, she would leave and not obstruct Liberty from becoming the next matriarch.

However, if her aunts' deaths were indeed an unfortunate accident, Liberty would have to compete against her fair and square. If Liberty could defeat her, she would willingly accept the loss.

Therefore, Caroline would still go against Liberty for the sake of the Fisher family. That was why Liberty could not trust her entirely.

In Liberty's eyes, Caroline was the daughter of, quite possibly, her grandmother's murderer. Perhaps she was already plotting how to slash Caroline to pieces, so how could she possibly trust Caroline?

Liberty probably took a liking to Caroline and got along with her because Caroline did not grow up in the Fisher family as the latter's principles and character were still decent.

If Caroline were someone like Celine, she and Liberty would have gone all out against each other.novelbin

Darren said, "You're right. Maybe there's a relation between Madam Fisher leaving and the discovery in Wiltspoon."

Belinda was looking for Tiara's assistant, who had disappeared after Tiara passed away.

They initially suspected that Patrick had disappeared along with Tiara's daughters back then. However, his location remained unknown even after the daughters were found.

Audrey was also looking for Belinda's assistant.

It meant that Patrick had not taken Tiara's daughter with him when the incident occurred decades ago.

Instead, he had left Jensburg by himself and disappeared into thin air.

Why did he leave?

There was no news of him for decades. Was he dead?

Belinda was in her twenties back then and was now turning seventy-one. Patrick was older than her by more than ten years. He was probably dead. Even if he were alive, he would be in his nies, nearing a hundred years old.

Was his mind still sharp at that age?

"Are you saying that the people in Wiltspoon have found Aunt Tiara's assistant? Is he still alive?"

Caroline whispered, "Is the

information accurate? Go and investigate further, but don't alert Mrs. Stone. She's not to be taken lightly.

"Why did Patrick leave? He was loyal to Aunt Tiara. Why did he just leave after she died? Did he know

leave?

"If Mrs. Stone found him, find out if he has evidence that my mom had killed Aunt Tiara."

Caroline's expression changed when she said that.

It seemed like the moment of truth was approaching.

She had mixed feelings and hoped that her aunts' deaths were purely an accident.

How could she face Liberty and the rest if the culprit was her mother?

Ah.

Why were there so many conflicts between people?

Could members of a family not work together for the benefit of the family?

Why did they have to fight over power and wealth?

As expected, there could be no peace where people gathered.

Even after having returned to her biological parents' side for two years, Caroline still did not like the Fisher family's environment. However, she knew it was unavoidable.
