Chapter 98
Rose’s POV
As we arrived back at Ashton’s pack, my heart fluttered with a mixture of excitement and apprehension. We were greeted by an array of Ashton’s guards, all ready to ensure our safe transport back to our home within the pack territory. But beneath the surface, there was a sense of urgency and secrecy that hung in the air.
“What’s going on?” I ask nervously, as Ashton holds Tommy to him with great care.
“They are just here to get us home safely – I don’t want anyone knowing about him until you are home and settled with him yet.” Ashton informs me rocking the baby in his arms.
That made sense… I trust him…
Ashton had made it clear that he didn’t want news of Tommy’s arrival to break just yet, wanting to keep our son concealed until the time was right. And so, as we stepped out of the car, I couldn’t help but feel a pang of anxiety at the thought of keeping our precious baby hidden away.
The guards ushered us towards a waiting vehicle, its windows blacked out to shield us from prying eyes. With Tommy cradled safely in Ashtons arms, I followed Ashton’s lead as we carefully made our way inside, the weight of secrecy pressing down on us like a heavy cloak.
Ashton’s hand found mine, his touch a reassuring anchor amidst the chaos and uncertainty. “We’ll keep him safe, Rose,” he murmured, his voice filled with determination and resolve. “No one will know about Tommy until we’re ready to share the news with the pack – he’s safe. He concludes firmly.
I nodded, trying to push aside my worries as I focused on the task at hand. With Ashton by my side, I knew that we would do whatever it took to protect our son and keep him safe from harm
As the vehicle pulled away from the main station, I stole a glance at Tommy, his tiny face peaceful in sleep as he snuggled against his father’s chest. My heart swelled with love and pride for our little miracle, and I vowed to do everything in my power to ensure his happiness and well–being.
I vowed to be a better mother to him than what mine was to me… that was for certain! Content © provided by NôvelDrama.Org.
The journey back to our home within the pack territory passed in a blur of tension and anticipation, every bump in the road a reminder of the delicate balance we were trying to maintain. But as we finally arrived at our destination, I felt a sense of relief wash over me knowing that we were one step closer to getting settled in our home.
I had missed this place, always regarding it as my first ever real home with Ashton never feeling comfortable enough to call anything else a home before in the past.
Ashton’s guards quickly ushered us inside, their movements swift and precise as they ensured our privacy and security in fear of any pack members wandering by the gates.
With Tommy still cradled in Ashtons arms, we made our way inside and towards our quarters, the familiar surroundings offering a sense of comfort and familiarity amidst the uncertainty.
“You’re home!” Lydia chimes, dropping their bags by the stairs as I grin at the relief.
As we settled into our home, I couldn’t help but feel a sense of gratitude for the unwavering support and protection of Ashton’s pack. They had of course welcomed us back with open arms and stood by us every step of the way, and for that, I would be forever grateful
“Should we get him settled? I was hoping to be home in order to buy everything we need for him….. I had some of my men pick up things so we have a cradle and the basics.” Ashton explains as we head up to our bedroom.
“Please say that he will be sleeping beside us? I don’t want him in a room of his own yet…” I admit, my eyes widening as I glance up to Ashton who laughs
“Obviously! Do you think I’d have it any other way? I’ve still not slept since he was born!” Ashton announces, as I laugh out loudly at the truth of his
words
- seems he was even more protective over him than I was!
As we entered our bedroom, a sense of relief washed over me seeing the familiar room.
It felt good to be back in familiar surroundings, surrounded by the comforting presence of our pack. Ashton carefully placed Tommy in the cradle that had been set up, his movements gentle and precise as he made sure our son was comfortable.

“He looks so peaceful already do you think he knows that he’s home?” I remarked, watching Tommy sleep soundly in his new surroundings. Ashton nodded in agreement, a proud smile on his face as he looked down at our son.
“He’s had quite the journey already, hasn’t he?” Ashton said, his voice filled with a mixture of pride and exhaustion. “But now, he’s finally home, where he belongs.” He hums contently to himself.
I couldn’t help but feel a sudden surge of emotion at Ashton’s words. Despite the challenges we had faced, we had made it through together, and now, our family was complete.
“I can’t believe he’s finally here our own baby,” I whispered, my voice filled with wonder and awe as 1 gazed down at Tommy. “He’s everything I ever dreamed of and more we are parents Ashton.” I announce as though he already didn’t know,
Ashton wrapped his arm around me, pulling me close as we watched our son sleep peacefully in his cradle. “He’s going to be loved and cherished every single day of his life, Ashton promised, his voice filled with determination. “We’ll make sure of it
With a sense of peace settling over me, I leaned into Ashton’s embrace, feeling the weight of exhaustion begin to lift from my shoulders. We had faced countless challenges to get to this moment, but now, as we stood together in our home, surrounded by the love and support of our pack, I knew that we were exactly where we were meant to be.
As the evening wore on, Ashton and 1 took turns watching over Tommy, marveling at every little sound and movement he made. It was a moment I wished could last forever, a precious slice of time frozen in eternity.
we would never
I searched online to purchase everything he needed and more… still not feeling as though I was done with the shopping–deciding that we wo be able to spoil him enough!
Eventually, exhaustion began to catch up with us, and we settled into bed together, Tommy’s soft breathing filling the room with a sense of peace and contentment. As I drifted off to sleep, I felt Ashton’s arms around me, his presence a comforting anchor amidst the chaos of our new
w life as parents.
I can’t wait to watch our son grow…
