Rekindling Her Affection (Sabrina and Nelson)

Chapter 91

Nelson was working in his study when Joanna came and knocked on the door. "Mrs. Tucker is back, and she's in the living room. It seems she needs to talk to you. Are you going down Mr. Tucker?"

Upon hearing this, he was slightly stunned. He hadn't expected her to come over.

He tapped the pen in his hand lightly on the desk. "Did she say what it's about?"

She shook her head. "No, but Mrs. Tucker looks upset."

Nelson stood up.

Joanna thought momentarily before saying, "Please don't argue with Mrs. Tucker often. She had been through a lot in all these years. Even when you quarrel, you should compromise a bit. Mrs. Tucker has a good temperament and is easy to console."

He nodded.

Her temperament was indeed good, but he always managed to provoke her.

As he walked down the stairs, he saw Sabrina sitting elegantly on the sofa.

Her fair skin and red lips contrasted against her long black coat that accentuated her gracefulness. Although, her cold and indifferent gaze wasn't that pretty.

"Is there something you need to talk to me about?" He met her intense stare and sat on the sofa across from her.

Although Sabrina was furious to see him acting so coldly, she knew getting emotional wouldn't help.

She didn't skirt the issue. "I'll exchange the evidence of Pamela harming me for Gerald's safety."

"What?" Nelson frowned and stared at her.

His puzzled face turned her expression scornful.Material © NôvelDrama.Org.

His mood worsened after seeing her expression.

His voice turned cold. "Do you not consider my feelings at all?"

"You never cared about my feelings, but now you expect me to care about yours?" Sabrina replied.

Their marriage was already in shambles, but here he was talking about feelings.

She had always accommodated his feelings, both when he was abroad and after he returned. It was to the point of spoiling him.

She neglected herself to care for him and, in return, he repeatedly ignored her.

The thought of it made Sabrina feel pathetic.

Nelson pursed his lips tightly.

After a while, he recalled Dylan mentioning that Gerald had gone to the hospital and broken Pamela's legs.

He thought that Pamela had brought it upon herself.

But now he understood why Sabrina

had come to see him. Gerald was caught for being careless, and

Sabrina thought he was responsible.

Nelson smirked and leaned closer to her. "Am I that horrible in your eyes?"

"Aside from cheating and treating

your wife poorly, you're great at everything else," she replied sarcastically, then looked him in the eye Mr. Tucker, my proposal is beneficial to you."

He was almost pressing against her.

He said with a somewhat

condescending tone, "This is your bargaining chip for the divorce, Do you think it's reasonable to

exchange two things for one?"

Sabrina had predicted his response. It was quite pathetic that, as his wife, she still had to negotiate for what she wanted.

She couldn't help but think of Gerald, who had given her so much love and support.

In contrast, she was always the one taking from him.

Before she came, she had told herself that no matter what Nelson demanded, she would agree for Gerald's sake.

"If it's not enough, I can offer more. What do you want, Mr. Tucker?"

"You know what I want, don't you? It's always the same thing," he teased purposely and sized her up like she was a commodity. In truth, Nelson was angry.

He was upset that she knew he disliked Gerlad, yet she came here pleading for him.

Sabrina felt a sharp pain in her heart but agreed readily. "Alright."

"You!" He was stunned as he hadn't expected that she would go this far for Gerald.

She was his wife after all. Therefore, he was very resentful that she would do this for another man.

"I'll do whatever you want." Sabrina stared into his eyes.

Nelson grabbed her arm and felt his anger surge.

She smiled and wrapped her arms around his neck, then pushed him onto the sofa.

His eyes darkened, but he still picked her up and carried her to the bedroom.

Sabrina was unusually compliant, aside from not kissing him.

He was reminded that she wanted to give the restored brooch to Gerald.

Since she had been reluctant, he decided to stop caring about her feelings.
