Chapter 863 Lightning Sword
Chapter 863 Lightning Sword
Then she suddenly fell to Finn.
Finn should catch Florrie, but he did not. He watched her fall on the ground and even moved away from
her.
Florrie closed her eyes as she fell on the ground and she thought Finn would catch her.
But she was stunned that Finn didn't. Then, Finn's voice sounded in her ears.
"It is true that you are weak, but you are far from fainting. When you do so, I can only think that you are
trying to do something to me."
Florrie thought, "Even if I want to do something you, you can't let a woman fall to the ground."
With grievance, Florrie climbed up on her own.
"Mr. Feng, why should you be so cold-hearted?" she said, looking at Finn with a smile.
"You are too fickle and I'm afraid to be cheated by you," said Finn.
Florrie got up, cleared the weeds from her and said, "Mr. Feng, don't make fun of me. When have I
ever fooled you?"
It seemed that Florrie had not said anything to deceive him but he had to be careful.
He took the Clouding Gem out of his pocket and said to Florrie, "What's this?"
Florrie smiled, and blinked her wide eyes before he said, "A gift to Mr. Feng, of course, as an apology
to take Yuer away by mistake."
"I'll take it," he said. "It's a gift for me." But Finn didn't believe it at all.
Florrie was stunned, but she soon smiled again. "What did Mr. Feng mean? If you refuse to take it, I will
be embarrassed. It's not precious, but it's worth some money."
Finn did not know whether what she said was true, but he always felt that this woman would not be so
simple.
Since Florrie had said that, Finn put the Clouding Gem back in his pocket.
"Since it's mine, you're not going to take it back."
Florrie smiled. "I don't think you'll be afraid of Cloud," she said.
Finn knew what she meant, but he didn't reply, and just asked, "Did you know the two who had gone
away?" he referred the boy.
"They are from the Qian family," answered Florrie.
"What the Qian family?" asked Finn.
Seeing that Finn was no joking, Florrie was surprised, "Mr. Feng doesn't know the Qian family?"
"Are they famous?" wondered Finn.
It was not a surprise that Finn hadn't heard of them. If he could enter the realm two years earlier, he
must have known the Qian family where there was a galaxy of talents.
Anyone in Country C didn't heard of the Eighteen Masters of the Qian family would be scolded as
ignorant. But no one could expect that within only two years, the Eighteen Masters of the Qian family
were defeated one after another. Since then, everyone began to look down on them.
At that time, the Qian family was afraid of being targeted, so they began to ban the members from
having contacts with the martial circle. Gradually, they lost fame, but in the desert, the Qian family was
still respected as the emperor.
Florrie was surprised. "Haven't you heard of Lightning Sword?"
Finn shook his head. Finn felt it familiar. Perhaps he had heard about it occasionally.
Florrie was all the more surprised. But she still said with seriousness, "the Qian family is the oldest
family in the desert. No one knows when they came to the desert, but everyone in the desert hears of
the name."
"Lightning Sword is also handed down from generations a long time ago. Legend has it that it is a
weapon of Martial Artist and the sword was used to kill many people. Many people have heard of it, but
few have seen it. And the reason why the Qian family is so famous throughout the continent is that
there are the Qian family's martial arts secrets in the sword."
"Is the Qian family's martial arts very powerful?" asked Finn.
"Maybe! But I haven't seen it either. I just heard about it. But if everyone thinks so, it must be very
strong."
Seeing that Florrie didn't know anything about it, Finn lost his interest.
Cloud, who was hit by Finn, would have been killed on the spot had it not been for his peculiar skills in
practicing martial arts. Even so, he was badly injured.
Fortunately, that silly boy appeared in time and let him escape.
Now, in the Lee family's private consulting room, Lord of the Lee family sat beside Cloud's hospital bed Upstodatee from Novel(D)ra/m/a.O(r)g
with a cold look.
Holding the golden Dragonhead Cane in his hand, he was pondering on something.
There was no one else in the consulting room except Cloud, who was lying on a bed having an
intravenous drip.
"My Lord, I would have brought that guy's head back if the kid of the Qian family hadn't stepped in,"
said Cloud hatefully.
When the old man heard his words, he raised his head and looked at him. "You don't have to deal with
this matter for the time being," he said. "I will send someone else over. You have brought Yuer back
and I'm satisfied with that."
Cloud, however, didn't want to give up. "I can't just let it go, Lord," he said. "I have to make this guy
suffer."
The old man said, "This matter has got the Qian family involved. If you continue to do that, it will only
provoke them. We can't go against with the Qian family yet."
Cloud tried to say something, but the old man gave him a stern look. He clenched his fist and said, "I
see."
Seeing that Cloud had given up, the old man softened his tone. "You don't have to worry," he said.
"There are always one or two hungry wolves, and they will look for prey."
Cloud calmed down, too. "Let Lead Wolf do it," he said.
The old man was stunned for a second and said, "Lead Wolf? Wouldn't it be too serious?"
However, Cloud insisted, "If we don't send Lead Wolf, others might suffer in his hands. If possible,
you'd better send Master Sirius. After all, I don't know if the Martial Artist will ever appear again."
The old man thought carefully.
The old man naturally knew the Martial Artist he was talking about was Sienna.
