Reborn As The 35

Andrew was so mad that he almost wanted to throw a punch at the wall. He admitted he had been an idiot before his rebirth, mistaking a fake pearl for a real one, but now he was all in to make it right. All he needed was a chance to turn things around. But right now, he

couldn't argue, because Ross was telling the truth.

Andrew thought in anger. Darn it! How can I avoid pissing Eleanor off while also getting rid of her two-faced brother?

Eleanor sensed the tension between them but figured there shouldn't be any rivalry since they were in different industries,

Blinking a few times, she tried to lighten the mood and said in a casual tone, "Hey, Andrew, you here for Gloria, huh? You don't have to make a special trip just to say hi. Ross can handle everything for me." She indeed felt a twinge of jealousy when she saw Andrew go to find Gloria earlier, but she had Ross now, and she couldn't be too greedy.

Andrew looked irritated, clearly trying hard to hold back his anger. After a beat, he said, "Nope, I came for you."

It was funny; Andrew used to pay little attention to the activities at Aloria High School, but since Eleanor's transfer, he followed the news from the school almost daily, even worrying about its security and sneaking in a few retired soldiers to watch over the place. This time, he did a week's work in three days and rushed back just for this pep rally, only to find himself sidelined. Of course, he was fuming.

Hearing his words, Eleanor blinked in surprise. "Wait, you came for me?" She'd just seen him go wondered if she got it wrong.

to meet Gloria first. She

Ignoring her confusion, Andrew took a deep breath, trying to calm the urge to give Ross a hard beating. He comforted himself inwardly, 'Fine, I can't make Eleanor mad

His gaze wandered around and landed on Felix, who was moving chairs to sit next to Eleanor. He asked with a frown, "What are you doing here?"

Felix replied flatly, I'm here for her pep rally."

"Get up and sit in your own spot. You're also a student; what's with a student running a meeting for another student?" Andrew snapped while shooting Felix a cold glare.

Felix, however, didn't budge and was as stubborn as a mule. "No way, I'm staying right here."

He thought, 'After all, I'm also Eleanor's real brother and one of the first ones here. Why should I leave?"

Blinking, Andrew didn't want to put Eleanor in a difficult situation but he wasn't ready to back down. He grabbed a chair from behind him and shoved it into Felix's space, stretching his long legs out and settling in.

"Ellie is the daughter of the Vanderbilt family and my little sister If anyone sees me here and thinks I'm not supporting her. they'll have a field day gossiping," he added.

Andrew's arrival made the already cramped space even more crowded.

Felix's expression darkened, and he scoffed in his mind, 'Seriously. Andrew is childish. How can he spout nonsense like that? Ross, meanwhile, watched the scene unfold with a gentle smile, though a flicker of coldness flashed in his eyes.

The atmosphere shifted into a strange, tense pressure, and even Eleanor felt a chill. She rubbed her arms and sighed at the sight of her three brothers huddled around her desk. She could help but sigh that having too many brothers could be a hassle-

Liam, though, was totally unaffected by the tension. He was pragically wagging his tail like an excited puppy around

Stephen, showering him with compliments. T'm so surprised, Stephen. How'd you find time to come and support me in my pep rally? You must think I'm pretty awesome, huh?"

Seeing Stephen remain silent, Liam kept talking, "Heh, bro, no need to be shy. A talented brother like me is a total jackpot anywhere. By the way, want to check out my test! It's totally epic

Stephen shot a glance at the mop by the door, and he was tempted to shove it in Liam's mouth to silence him.

With the whole family members being steady and sharp, how did they end up with a child like Liam? If Stephen hadn't raised Liam himself, he'd think someone had switched Liam for someone else. Stephen rubbed his temples and snapped, "Shut up."

Liam immediately stopped nagging, looking all sad and pitiful. Oh, okay.

As Stephen took a seat at Liam's desk, he could sneak a glance at Eleanor's table. Everything was neatly arranged-books stacked just right, a folded test paper with delicate handwriting, and a cute little pink cup sitting on the surface. The whole vibe radiated cleanliness and softness, and just looking at her stuff lifted his spirits a bit.

Funny enough. Liam ended up sharing a desk with his fiancée. Was the universe conspiring to give them some quality time together? With that thought, a smirk crept onto Stephen's lips. He thought he really needed to figure out a way to get his fiancée home without those three pesky brothers in the way.

Maybe sensing his gaze, Ross shifted slightly and blocked Stephen's view.

But Stephen didn't feel flustered. He met Ross's eyes head-on and said, "Mr. Anderson, great to finally meet you."

When the detective looked into Eleanor's life in the Vanderbilt family, he also checked her previous living situation. Stephen knew the Andersons treated her well, almost as their own daughter. He thought well of Eleanor's adoptive parents. However, the more he looked at Ross, the more annoying he became.Property of Nô)(velDr(a)ma.Org.

"Mr. Lloyd, nice to meet you." Ross replied in a gentle tone, maintaining his sweet smile as Stephen greeted him.

Stephen casually crossed his long legs, exuding an air of effortless elegance. "Mr. Anderson, we're family, so you can just call me Stephen.

Ross's smile froze for a second, and he asked, "Mr. Lloyd, are you joking? We're family?"

Stephen kept it cool and replied, "Not joking at all. Eleanor is my fiancée, which makes you my brother by relationship. I didn't want to scare you on our first meeting, but that's true."
