My Identities Were Revealed After Marriage

Chapter 21

Chapter 21

So, even for people with money, power, status, and fame, who loved their daughter deeply and didn't want to miss out on her upbringing, what

drove them to leave their only daughter in the village to be raised by strangers?

She acknowledged that her great-grandparents' friends were kind-hearted individuals who had raised her as their own granddaughter. Through

their love, guidance, and protection, she had grown up and become the person she was today.

Her attention snapped back when the maid asked if she had eaten or if they should prepare food for her. She replied that she had already

finished lunch and would be going out, promising to return in the evening.

Without waiting for the maid's response, she swiftly made her way to the door, where a man dressed as a chauffeur approached her. "Young

madam, are you going somewhere? If so, please allow me to take you there."

She observed him for a moment before providing him with the address and settling into the backseat of the car. NôvelDrama.Org © 2024.

Back at the Smith family mansion, all the members of the family had gathered, their faces bearing an unpleasant expression. It was evident

from a single glance that their lunch had not gone as planned.

The maid greeted them politely, but Stacey and her mother Jane responded with insults, demeaning her. The room fell into an uncomfortable

silence, and George was the first to break it.

"Dad, did we miss something about the Anthony family?" George questioned, his brows furrowed with confusion.

"If that guy who was with Sandra at the Brovard restaurant is really Levy Anthony, how come he doesn't match the description of being ugly?

Secondly, the car he was driving was a limited edition Lamborghini, one of only two in the entire world, and both were mysteriously

purchased. Even the manager of Brovard restaurant personally came to welcome them. This isn't something a worthless person can achieve,"

George reasoned, trying to make sense of the situation.

"He has never been a decent person, let alone someone who cares about customers. Even the security guard chased us away and warned us

that we had messed with the wrong person. We should pray that he doesn't escalate things further," George added, concern evident in his

voice.

"Who could be more powerful than the Jacksons, the Smiths, and even Eza Entertainment? They seem insignificant in his eyes," George

continued, his tone filled with awe and disbelief.

"At that time, the only people we had a dispute with were Sandra and Levy Anthony. We know Sandra and her family so well, so it's

impossible for it to be her doing. That leaves only Levy," George concluded, his voice trailing off. The pieces of the puzzle were starting to

come together, painting a picture of an enigmatic and formidable figure in Levy Anthony.

Stacey's frustration grew, and she couldn't help but speculate, "Was the information about Levy true, or was that the reason why Sandra agreed

to marry him so easily? Because she knew he was wealthy?"

Her anger boiled over, and she cursed under her breath, "That bastard surely knows something. Grandpa, we need to conduct a thorough

background check on the Anthony family. We must find out who we are up against."

"Those conniving Sandras and her family might use this to target us. You know how jealous they are of our success. And we need to uncover

the identity of the owner of Brovard restaurant and hotels. The owner has always been shrouded in mystery," Stacey exclaimed, her voice

laced with determination.

"I highly doubt it's Levy himself, considering that Brovard hotels and restaurants were established twenty years ago when Levy was just a

child. The only possibility is that Levy Anthony knows the owner or that it may be a property of the Anthony family," Stacey reasoned, her

mind working through the possibilities.

"I'm going to dig deeper into this. I have a gut feeling that we are about to uncover something we won't be thrilled to know," Stacey declared,

her resolve firm.

Stella, who had remained quiet all this time, finally spoke up, "Before we jump to conclusions, let's try to stay calm." Her words resonated

with the rest of the family, and they realized the importance of maintaining composure in the face of uncertainty. "Let's have our lunch since it

was ruined by those good-for-nothing people," she added, referring to Sandra and Levy.

They made their way to the dining table and instructed the maid to serve their lunch. "Thank goodness we didn't stop the chefs from preparing

the meal. Otherwise, we would have starved," remarked Melinda, George, and Stella's mother.

They ate in silence, each lost in their own thoughts, all centered around Sandra and Levy. Stacey and Stella couldn't help but feel that they

might have made a grave mistake by allowing Sandra to marry Levy Anthony. They questioned the accuracy of the information they had

received about Levy's background.

If it turned out that Levy was not as poor as they believed, they would become the laughingstock of the city, unknowingly serving their

enemies with a silver spoon. Even the old man Smith, who had been the patriarch of the Smith family for over twenty years, started

questioning the validity of the rumors.

He pondered, "How could the Anthony family have gone bankrupt without some external force at play? If it's true that old man Anthony and

his wife are still alive, along with their children, how did the decline of the Anthony family come about?"

He realized that this matter might be far more serious than he had initially imagined. If the Anthony family was still present and actively

working, the question remained: Where had they been all these years? What had they been up to?

The family was now filled with a sense of urgency to uncover the truth behind the mysterious decline of the Anthony family and the

unexpected rise of Levy Anthony. Little did they know that delving deeper into this mystery would lead them down a path they never could

have anticipated.
