Ava's throat felt like it had been choked by a steel rod. Not even a small voice came out of her mouth. Somewhere in her heart she knew he wasn't going to give up the idea of getting her back but this? This was like the end of every hope that she had of getting him out of "You can't do this." His usaual evil smirk formed on his lips as he grabbed her hands that were holding his collar and put his face just an inch away from her's while replying, "I.. already did sweetheart!"

Her breaths were heavy in anger. Everything was perfect, her life was perfect for six fucking years and now, he made his sudden appearance and boom! Everything is ruined.

"Stop this fucking war right now or I swear to god, I'll kill you with my bare hands only."

He snatched his collar away from her hands and pinned her hands behind her back.

"I'm ready." He replied with so much passion that it was burning like fire in his eyes. "I'm ready to take every fucking punishment you want to give me. Beat me to death or burn me with burning coal, I won't even twitch." He pulled her squirming body flush against his as he breathed heavily. "Just come back with me. I'll stop this war here only, I'll even give him everything I have. Just fucking come back home. Our home."

A smashing sound came as the door of the room was broken down in pieces. Van's angry red eyes landed directly on them and in the next second he was turning into his wolf as he lunged and shouted, "You bastard!"

Christian was already ready for his attack as he also turned into his wolf the next instant. Ava was pushed away with force as both the wolves collided in a violent fight with each other.

Suddenly the thought of Candice struck in her mind and she ran with all her power towards her room. But just as she reached in the corridor, she collided with Kai. "Where is Candice?" She asked frantically.

Kai was bleeding from various injuries on his body but she knew that because of his wolf power he'll heal in a few hours. "Don't worry". He replied as he grabbed her by her arms and pinned her by the wall in a protective shield of his body. "She is with Bella. They are with other pack ladies and children and all are safe. We've sent them to the nearby pack." She breathed a sigh of relief.

"Now," Kai continued, "It's time for you to get out of here. I came here to pick you up. There are warriors out there hiding and waiting for you. Just go with them, alright?"

Ava gave him a look that indicated that she considered him a person with 0 IQ level.

"Ava!" Kai said while panicking, "Don't give me that look. I know what you are thinking but right now, I'm telling you what's right. Just get the hell out of here."

"Look who's talking." Ava replied angrily while she jerked his hands away from her arms angrily, "The same person who fought without worrying about his own life and sent his mate to a safe place the first chance he got."

And before he could reply her, a warrior of Christian's pack started fighting with him. Ava knew Kai will be able to overpower him, so she ran back towards the room where Christian and Van were fighting.

Just as she put her foot in the room, the scene in front of her shook her soul. Blood was everywhere. Even the floor was covered in blood and Van and Christian were looking like there wasn't any part of their body that wasn't harmed.

Both were panting heavily. Both were injured but Van was looking like another attack, and he won't be able to stand again. Ava's body started shaking in anger.

And then Christian attacked Van once again. Right on his throat. Van was pinned down by Christian's wolf and the next second his canines were on Van's throat.

But just as his canines could sink in

Van's throat, his wolf was thrown harshly away by Ava who on not having any other option, had grabbed a rod and struck at Christian with her full power. Of course, because of not having the strength as strong as werewolves, it didn't do much damage to Christian but it was enough to knock him off Van.

Ava growled loudly in anger as she once again struck the rod at Christian. Christian was already weak, but by looking at his actions, as he didn't fight with Ava, he gave up the fight altogether. He came in his human form and the rod Ava had in her hand came to a abrupt stop just above his heart.

"You still love me Ava." He smirked through a pain striken, blood covered face.

"Why don't you fucking get it?" She shouted angrily. "You lost my love a long fucking time ago Christian. You lost me the minute you stole my family. You lost me the second you hit me. You lost me the instant you doubt me and you lost me the moment you fucked someone else in front of me."

Tears of individual pain were

She screamed the last words frustratingly as she moved a few

inches away from him.

Christian's eyes darted towards a few inches away standing Van. Even though he was injured badly, but his eyes were trained on Christian's every move.

"Then kill me." Suddenly Christian

said to Van. "Kill me right now

because I can't live without Ava. I can't see her with someone else." He panted as he wiped the blood from his mouth while standing up, I know I did wrong but until I'm alive, if Ava can't be mine, then I can't let her to

be someone else's."

Van's fist clenched in anger. His body was covered in blood. Just as he was ready to lunge at Christian, Ava's voice stopped him.

"Leave him Van. He isn't worth it."

They turned to leave but Christian's voice again stopped them.

"Kill me Van." He screamed. "Kill me or I swear to Ava that I'll kill her first and then I'll kill myself because she loves you. If I can't live with her, then I'll not let her live with someone else also. Call it my obsession for her, but she'll be mine until my last breath. The choice is yours." Van and Ava's hearts were beating frantically. They knew it wasn't an empty threat but they didn't have any option. So ignoring his threat they took another step and the next instant Ava felt a sharp pain in her nape as she was grabbed and thrown on the floor harshly and was pinned down by Christian.

Ava heard the angry howl of Van's wolf through the pain in her head. Christian's hands were squeezing her neck to death.

"I've always loved you, Ava."

She heard the last whispering words out of Christian's mouth as in the next second, he was grabbed by Van's wolf and his neck was snapped to death.
