Chapter 3: The Betrothal Gifts For Marrying Me
Chapter 3: The Betrothal Gifts For Marrying Me
In the hospital's underground parking lot, Alvera stood beside a Bentley, wearing an ordinary white T-
shirt and jeans.
After an hour, the owner of the car finally came back.
He was a graceful man.
His tall posture in a luxurious suit showed indescribably good-looking.
For the first time, Alvera felt that Antoine was nothing compared to him.
The man took off his sunglasses as he approached and looked quizzingly at the woman who stopped
his way to the car.
Alvera put on a charming smile on her beautiful face.
"Mr. Francois, you know me, don't you?"
"Have we met before?"
"No, we haven't. But four years ago, you sent me, a mere stranger, into prison. Do you not remember
me or have you sent too many people into prison?"
"You are Alvera Earhart?" There was a hint of disgust in his eyes.
Alvera smiled. "Yes, I am Alvera Earhart. Mr. Francois, do you have time? Let's talk."
"I'm not interested in talking to a woman like you. Get out of the way."
Alvera, who had been leaning against the car, did stepped away from the car after he said that.
"I forgot. Mr Francois's car is quite an expensive car. It would be bad luck for someone like me to lean
on."
"Get away, then. I don't care what you want, don't loiter around here." he said as he opened the car
door.
He said before he got ready to get into the car.
"It's not easy to find a liver donor in such a short time, is it?"
The man stopped and looked at her. "You haven't learned your lesson from the past four years?"
"Mr Francois, I'm here exactly because I've learnt my lesson. I know where to find a liver donor for
Andrina."
"Do you?"
Alvera shrugged and smiled indifferently. "You must have heard that the Earhart family wants me to go
back."
She was sure that Earhart family was looking for her right now, but she didn't want to tell Roland the
real reason why.
Roland raised his eyebrows slightly, but remained silent.
"I'm the only one who can find her a liver donor, Mr Francois. Would you rather talk to me or just give
up the opportunity to save your girlfriend?"
Roland sneered, "Don't regret it. Get in the car."
Alvera felt a sense of relief as she watched him get into the car.
Samuel was right, this man was very dangerous.
However, she had enemies on both sides. It would be the best plan for her to partner up with one side
to deal with the other.
Roland took her to a private wine cellar.
The staff left after serving them a bottle of wine.
"Do you know how to serve the wine?"
"Sure." Alvera stepped forward, opened the bottle, and poured some wine for him elegantly.
He picked up the glass and swirled the wine around gently. "Go ahead, what do you want from me?"
"You're straightforward. Let's not beat around the bush. What can you give me?"
Roland looked her up and down and scoffed, "An apartment, a car, and three million dollars."
Alvera shrugged. "The woman you love is worth so little."
Roland's expression turned to cold, "Looks like you have some ridiculous demands."
"I think Andrina is worth more than this. I demand my own villa with a view of the sea. As for the car, I'll
take the one by the door. After all, I don't think you'll want to use it anymore after I've sat in it. I also
want ten million dollars."
"As I expected, this is a ridiculous demand."
Alvera smiled, "Is this ridiculous already? Mr. Francois, I'm not finished yet."
Roland looked at her coldly, "Are you sure you want to continue?"Property © NôvelDrama.Org.
"I want you." She pointed at him with a seductive smile.
Literally no one in Calgary would have such courage to ask for what she did.
He swirled the wine in his glass and looked at the woman in front of him with an evil smile.
He had to admit that she was a stunner. It was a pity that she had a malicious heart.
"Me? Are you sure?"
There was no emotion in his eyes, but his voice was cold.
"Everything I listed before are the betrothal gifts for marrying me. That's how much I think Andrina is
worth. Other than that, whether I want you or not is not important. what imoprtant is to saving Andrina's
life, what do you you think?" she replied.
